Race Summary
- VER DNF → SAI win!
- What could have been a 1-stop snoozefest turned into a 2-stop… sort of.
- Ferrari with strong pace sees them able to take the top two steps of the podium
- McLaren also very strong pace, if not NOR, then PIA would have been on the podium easily
- A somewhat weak first stint for PER resulted in being unable to challenge for the podium
- ALO penalised end of race for over slowing or something which caused RUS to end up in the wall, then in the middle of the track.
- Mercedes Double DNF
- Despite a weak qualifying, Haas raced very well and found some points and made up time on track
- Alpine and Sauber forming the very back end of the field
Tyres Available for the Race
What better place to figure out which tyres everyone has for the race other than Pirelli themselves - feel free to click the link here for their twitter post.
In the medium term, I’ll try to make a graphic to do this on my own, but they do such a good job, and usually share a lot of very useful stuff on their twitter - so why not follow them.
